DEAR PARENTS, STAFF, AND STUDENTS:
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! Starting out with a HUGE thank you to the families that continued to donate and support PTSO in 2022. Due to your generosity we have been able to support the school and staff in so many ways including adding grass in the kinder playground area and purchasing pads to wrap the poles in the cage area on the playground. We will also be having the MPR painted.
Not familiar with PTSO and what we do for your Coyote Hills student, teacher, and campus? I am Mandy Moore, this years president. It's my 2nd year with the PTSO board. I have 4 daughters, my oldest will be a Senior at Arizona Christian University, my next oldest is a Freshman at Utah Tech University, then I have a Junior at Liberty High School and my youngest will be in 3rd grade here at Coyote Hills. We have a fantastic board made up of Coyote Hills parents with children in various grades and along with parents who have already signed up for membership this year, we make up the Coyote Hills PTSO. You too can join the PTSO and be a part of the decision making, the fun and the friendships! This is our family’s 8th year at Coyote Hills and I can't wait to be more involved in making this school a great place to be.
It is our goal within PTSO to promote and support opportunities for families to be effectively involved in their children’s educational lives because children succeed when families, schools, and communities work together. PTSO assists with home/school communication, cares about school safety, and quality teachers. PTSO helps local leaders plan events and involve families with training, tools, and resources within our school community. In previous years, the Coyote Hills PTSO has funded sporting events, supplies in the classroom, state of the art projection and sound system in the auditorium, arts education, student aid and much more, we are excited to try fun new ways to get our families involved virtually!
Most parents say to me, “I don’t have the time to volunteer or attend the meetings”. My response is always “that’s okay!” Your membership doesn’t commit you to anything but being a part of the school’s PTSO, your dues go directly into the general fund and help us pay for various expenditures during the year. We encourage you to volunteer the time you do have or attend a fundraiser night! Have a small business, have a BIG business? We want to support you and spread the word! Get your info to us so we can build a school wide database for our PTSO members!
You can pay for your membership via Venmo (@CoyoteHills-PTSO) or visit our website www.coyotehillsptso.org click the membership tab print the form and send that in with cash or check to your child's teacher. I promise to make your PTSO experience fun and hassle free! Sign up Now! Thank you for your time, for being a present parent and for your dedication to Coyote Hills and its students! I look forward to meeting each of you!
We’re better together,
Mandy Moore
